Requirements
Must:
- High School diploma or equivalent with at least 9 years of relevant experience
- Active TS/SCI clearance
- In-depth understanding of both basic and advanced cybersecurity principles
- DoD 8140 IAM Level III certification (CISSP, GSLC, CISM)
- Demonstrated experience in developing, operating, and sustaining security systems
- Comprehensive knowledge of operating systems and database security
- Proficient in networking technologies, network security, and network monitoring tools
- Familiarity with security systems including antivirus programs, content filtering, firewalls, authentication systems, and intrusion detection systems
- Strong grasp of security protocols and principles
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related discipline is preferred
- Skilled in secure network architectures, encryption technologies, application security, and secure coding practices
- Knowledge of identity and access management, routing techniques, social engineering, and Advanced Persistent Threats (APTs)
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, execution, and upkeep of secure digital infrastructures
- Develop and enforce security protocols to safeguard information and network infrastructure
- Establish and document system security criteria and propose solutions to management
- Configure, troubleshoot, and manage security infrastructure software and hardware
- Install systems to monitor networks for security breaches and intrusions
- Observe systems for unusual activities and implement preventive measures
- Plan, create, implement, and update the companys information security strategy
- Educate and train personnel on best practices in information system security
