Requirements
Must:
- Clearable TS/SCI security clearance
- Profound knowledge of intricate IT systems, networks, and security technologies including firewalls, intrusion detection, and encryption
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills for quick resolution of security issues
- Effective communication skills to convey complex security concepts to diverse audiences
- Familiarity with STIGs, ACAS, HBSS/Trellix, vulnerability management, and secure configuration standards
- DOD 8140 IAM Level III certification (CISSP, CISM, CCISO)
- High School diploma with over 9 years of relevant experience or comparable expertise
- Adaptability to the continuously evolving cybersecurity landscape and emerging threats
- Strategic thinking about security architecture and organizational alignment
- Experience with DOD networks (NIPR, SIPR, JWICS)
Responsibilities
- Lead the creation and execution of a resilient security architecture that satisfies business goals and compliance mandates
- Perform comprehensive risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to uncover potential threats to our systems and information
- Identify and prioritize risks, formulating effective risk mitigation strategies
- Define, implement, and enforce security policies, standards, and practices to ensure adherence to industry regulations
- Collaborate with IT departments, cybersecurity teams, and management to embed security considerations throughout the software development lifecycle and operational workflows
- Guide or engage in security incident response planning and drills, investigating breaches to report findings and rectify issues
