Requirements

Must:
- I hold a Bachelor’s degree with 12 years of experience (or equivalent experience). - I am recognized as a certified Agile professional (e.g., SAFe, SCRUM, Kanban, XP, lean, and Scrumban). - I possess a current Secret clearance or an interim TS clearance. - Ideally, I have five years of experience in release and/or project management within an IT environment. - I have a Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. - I possess an active Project Management Professional certification from PMI, ITIL certification, or a comparable project/program management certification. - I have experience providing detailed engineering and technical leadership for complex and interrelated project tasks. - I possess advanced knowledge of the software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

- As a Release Manager/Engineer, I will oversee and manage the coordination of products from development through production. - I will lead the coordination, integration, and workflow of development, testing, and deployment to support Continuous Delivery (CD). - I will plan and schedule releases to prevent conflicts with upcoming upgrades, simultaneous development efforts, COOP testing, and other blackout periods. - I will publish a Forward Schedule of Change to facilitate thorough impact assessments and related releases. - I will adhere to customer Change Management protocols. - I will recommend and implement enhancements, including automated deployments. - I will conduct regular release planning and management meetings.
