Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree with 5 - 8 years of experience in IT engineering (or equivalent experience)
- Required to maintain a Public Trust clearance
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Section Manager and Team Lead to ensure network availability and uphold confidentiality and security
- Communicate, investigate, triage, monitor, and address security incidents, events, alerts, and issues in accordance with standard operating procedures and in partnership with NS Operations
- Participate in refining alert thresholds and enhancing the Security Section for improved customer satisfaction
- Work with Security Subject Matter Experts on best practices
- Provide assistance to mid-level and junior network security engineers on tasks as needed
- Offer mentorship to mid-level and junior network security engineers
