Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree with 2-5 years of relevant experience or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years in Network Services.
- Proven experience in ensuring optimal availability and quality in network routing and switching, IP security, and wide area network services.
- Ability to obtain and maintain NIH/CIT Public Trust clearance.
- CCNA/CCNP certification preferred.
- Experience in security practices is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Deliver optimal network availability and quality for routing, switching, IP security, and wide area network services.
- Engage in daily stand-ups and apply the kanban methodology to manage and resolve incidents within established Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Assist senior engineers with shift lead tasks, acting as a queue manager to ensure efficient issue assignment and expedited resolutions to meet SLAs.
- Support proactive measures, including network monitoring, analysis, and maintenance/patching along with documentation efforts.
- Propose enhancements to management regarding communication, customer insight, tools, technology, and equipment.
