Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree with 8+ years of relevant experience or equivalent
- Minimum of 8 years in Network Services
- Proven capability in ensuring optimal network routing and switching, IP security, and wide area network service quality
- Ability to obtain and maintain NIH/CIT Public Trust clearance
- CCNA/CCNP certification is preferred
- Experience in security protocols is a plus
Responsibilities
- Ensure maximum availability and quality for network routing, switching, IP security, and wide area network services
- Engage in daily stand-ups, utilizing kanban methodology to address and resolve incidents and issues within defined SLAs
- Support senior engineers in shift lead role, acting as queue managers to efficiently allocate and expedite escalated issues
- Contribute to proactive initiatives such as network monitoring, maintenance, patching, and documentation
- Recommend enhancements to management related to communication, customer service, tools, technology, and equipment
