Requirements
Must:
- High School diploma or equivalent with 0-2 years of relevant experience
- Strong technical proficiency
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills
- Preferred: Minimum 6 months experience troubleshooting Apple Macintosh software and hardware in a customer service setting
- Preferred: Certification in Microsoft Operating Systems
- Preferred: Familiarity with SCCM for remote software installations
- Preferred: CompTIA Network+ certification
- Preferred: CompTIA A+ certification
- Preferred: CompTIA Server+ certification
- Preferred: CompTIA Security+ certification
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive support for all onsite IT operations
- Collaborate with support teams, help desks, customers, and technical staff to resolve issues
- Coordinate and conduct operational and maintenance tasks for networks and servers
- Identify and analyze recurring problems to recommend solutions for reducing their frequency or severity
- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain a wide array of products and equipment
- Deliver technical services and solutions across various support areas, including systems refresh and software integration
- Diagnose and repair product failures, as well as order and replace parts as necessary
- Offer training for customer support personnel on-site
- Handle on-call support by addressing technical problems submitted through the ServiceNow ticketing system
- Work closely with network services, software systems engineering, and applications development to restore services or identify root causes
- Suggest system modifications to minimize user issues
- Conduct routine system maintenance and analysis functions, including hardware configurations and equipment component management
- Install operating system updates and patches via SCCM Software Center
- Provide remote support for telework/home users, ensuring application functionality over VPN and Citrix
- Manage requests for user relocations and ensure device encryption
- Perform local onsite cabling and support enterprise groups, including network and security operations
- Restart network devices upon directive from enterprise networking staff
- Assist users with mobile communication devices and offer tier 2 support for hardware troubleshooting and OS reinstallations
- Support asset inventory efforts and assist with receiving and processing property
- Process computer equipment for disposal, following proper disposal policies to erase all information from devices
- Troubleshoot problems in video conferencing and audio/video maintenance
- Work with support staff on remote troubleshooting and repairs, and assist in setting up presentation devices and video conferencing units
- Support pre/post application releases and analyze end-user support trends
- Perform additional duties as assigned
