Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree with 8+ years of cyber security experience (or equivalent experience)
- Active TS/SCI clearance is required
Responsibilities
- Assist the government in evaluating all new and existing systems to identify associated security requirements
- Interact with both technical and non-technical personnel for thorough system, network, or application reviews
- Hold moderate to advanced proficiency in security engineering, the ATO process, enterprise monitoring, and incident response
- Contribute to the development or enhancement of the assessment program
- Collaborate with various cybersecurity team members to understand roles, missions, and security requirements
- Establish a program to address security inquiries from DHS employees globally, regardless of complexity
- Support field and HQ application developers in secure development practices in cloud and on-premises settings
- Partner with diverse sections to create a comprehensive security program
- Develop and maintain a repository of responses for security-related questions, collaborating with the security team and IT departments
- Generate formal responses subject to government review
- Occasionally create new forms, templates, or documents to support the establishment of new programs
