- Develops, tests, and implements advanced secure operating systems, networks, and database systems - Conducts comprehensive risk assessments and offers design recommendations for applications - Engages in a multitude of computer security concerns, including architectures, firewalls, electronic data traffic, and network access controls - Applies encryption technologies, conducts penetration and vulnerability assessments of various security technologies, and performs IT security research - Prepares and submits security reports to relevant government agencies - Delivers a broad array of computer security functions, focusing on architectural integrity, firewalls, electronic data flows, and network access management - Participates in certification and accreditation protocols; executes technical vulnerability assessments of computer security - Supports business continuity and disaster recovery efforts - Engages in intrusion detection and deterrence; facilitates incident reporting and response efforts - Monitors ongoing computer security compliance and requirements, maintaining system security documents and risk mitigation strategies - Educates clients on effective computer security strategies and preventative measures
