Requirements
Must:
- High School diploma with 0-3 years of relevant experience or equivalent
- Strong technical aptitude
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with Apple Macintosh software and hardware (preferably 6 months of experience in customer service role)
- Certification in Microsoft Operating Systems is a plus
- Knowledge of SCCM for remote software installation is advantageous
- CompTIA Network+ certification is preferred
- CompTIA A+, Server+, and Security+ certifications are desirable
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive onsite IT support for federal clients
- Collaborate with support teams, help desks, customers, and technical staff to resolve issues
- Coordinate and execute network and server operations and maintenance activities
- Identify recurring issues and propose solutions to minimize them
- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain a wide range of technology products
- Deliver technical support services, system refresh, software integration, and operational assistance
- Analyze and repair product failures, ordering and replacing parts as necessary
- Offer training to customer support staff onsite
- Respond to technical issues through the ServiceNow ticketing system
- Work with network services and software engineering to restore and enhance service
- Recommend system modifications to enhance user experience
- Perform routine maintenance, including hardware configurations and equipment swaps
- Install operating system patches and upgrades using SCCM Software Center
- Provide remote support services for telecommuting users
- Manage user relocation requests effectively
- Ensure proper encryption of devices
- Assist with local cabling tasks
- Offer onsite support for enterprise groups such as network and security operations
- Troubleshoot video conferencing and audio/video system issues
- Support tier 1 Service Desk operations by answering user calls
- Carry out additional tasks as needed
