Must:
- High School diploma or equivalent with 2-5 years of related experience
- Strong technical skills and proficiency
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance
- (Preferred) At least 6 months of experience troubleshooting Apple Macintosh hardware and software in a client-facing environment
- (Preferred) Certification in Microsoft Operating Systems
- (Preferred) Knowledge of SCCM remote resolution and software installation via SCCM
- (Preferred) CompTIA Network+
- (Preferred) CompTIA A+
- (Preferred) CompTIA Server+
- (Preferred) CompTIA Security+
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive support for all onsite IT operations
- Collaborate with support teams, help desks, and technical staff to resolve issues
- Organize and execute operational and maintenance tasks for networks and servers
- Identify recurring issues and propose solutions to mitigate their frequency or impact
- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain a diverse range of products and services
- Deliver technical support, systems refresh, software integration, and operational assistance
- Diagnose, analyze, and repair product malfunctions while managing parts procurement
- Conduct onsite training sessions for customer support teams
- Offer on-call support by addressing technical issues through the ServiceNow ticketing system
- Coordinate with network services and software engineering to restore functions and address core problems
- Suggest system modifications to minimize user difficulties
- Perform routine system maintenance, configuration changes, and equipment replacements
- Apply operating system updates and patches via SCCM Software Center
- Provide remote assistance for telecommuters and home users, ensuring application accessibility through VPN and Citrix
- Manage user relocation requests
- Ensure all devices are adequately encrypted
- Handle local onsite cabling tasks
- Support enterprise groups including network and security operation centers, including restarting networking equipment and replacing defective hardware
- Assist users with mobile communication devices and provide tier 2 support, such as hardware troubleshooting and operating system reinstallation
- Assist with physical inventory and property management
- Prepare computer equipment for disposal, adhering to disposal policies and ensuring data is erased
- Troubleshoot video conferencing and audio/video system issues
- Collaborate with support staff for remote troubleshooting and repairs
- Help set up presentation technologies and video conferencing systems
- Support pre/post application releases
- Analyze and report on end-user support trends
- Perform other duties as assigned
