Requirements
Must:
- High School diploma with 9+ years of relevant experience or equivalent
- TS/SCI clearance eligibility
- Strong organizational abilities for managing cross-functional projects
- Proficient in network administration and circuit management
- Experience in debugging CPU logic and circuit failures
- DoD 8140 Level II certification (Security+ CE, CCNA-Security, CySA+, CND)
- Knowledge of contract management, AC and DC power systems, transformers, circuit protection, and protective relaying
- Bachelors degree in a technical or engineering discipline or equivalent (preferred)
- Certifications such as Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP), Prosci Certified Change Practitioner, Certified Problem and Change Manager (CPCM) (preferred)
- Flexibility in adapting to new situations and challenges
- Strong problem-solving capabilities to address unexpected issues smoothly
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain communication circuits utilized for network operations
- Collaborate with diverse teams and agencies to ensure circuit compliance and resolve issues
- Oversee circuit performance and usage to assure optimal functionality and security
- Diagnose and rectify circuit issues to reduce downtime and uphold reliable communication
- Troubleshoot system failures and access issues affecting network services
- Assist in new or upgraded network implementations and technical refresh projects at the site
- Conduct thorough analysis and investigation to tackle complex problems creatively and inventively, drawing on prior experience
- Manage network administration ticket resolutions, including:
- Initial categorization of service requests (type, sub-type, priority, etc.)
- Provisioning new switches, routers, VLANs, and Cryptographic keys using administrative network access
- Researching incidents and problems through administrative network access to perform analysis
- Routing service requests to the relevant organizations for incident resolution
- Conducting root cause analyses and resolving problems related to incident tickets
- Configure, deploy, manage, and maintain systems monitoring tools to ensure service availability and performance
