Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience in product management or a related technical field.
- 5 years of experience overseeing technical products from conception to launch (e.g., ideation to execution, end-to-end).
- 5 years of experience in people management, particularly with technical leadership.
- Masters degree in a technology or business-related discipline (preferred).
- 7 years of experience collaborating cross-functionally with engineering, UX/UI, sales finance, and other stakeholders (preferred).
- Familiarity with Ads across video, image, or audio formats and associated technologies (e.g., audio/video compression, resolution) (preferred).
- Understanding of AI capabilities (generative, LLM, etc.) with an interest in applications to visual/sound spaces in advertising (preferred).
- Proficient in leading and developing high-performing teams, promoting cross-product collaboration, creative problem-solving, and meticulous multi-quarter planning (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Continue to advance our forward-looking vision for creative optimization on YouTube, developing strategy and roadmap in alignment with organizational objectives.
- Utilize generative AI and automation technologies to enhance the creative generation and optimization process, identifying new opportunities for improved production and performance analysis.
- Collaborate closely with surface Product Management, Engineering, UX, and YouTube organic teams to ensure seamless integration across various formats and surfaces.
- Work in partnership with buy-side teams, measurement partners, and demand source owners within and outside of YouTube Ads to successfully implement and enhance ad solutions.
- Cultivate a team culture centered on excellence and continuous learning while providing mentorship and guidance.
