Requirements
Must:
- Excellent oral and written communication abilities.
- Proficient computer troubleshooting skills; A+ certification preferred.
- Basic knowledge of LAN and networking; Network+ certification preferred.
- Capability to work both independently and in collaboration with IT and manufacturing teams.
- Analytical skills for evaluating data and identifying system issues.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is highly desired.
- Background in customer service is strongly preferred.
- Experience in report writing is an advantage.
- Bilingual skills are a plus.
- Associate degree or equivalent work experience is required.
Responsibilities
- Provide prompt and professional technical support to employees via remote desktop and in-person assistance.
- Assist multiple internal users daily, prioritizing requests to minimize production interruptions.
- Diagnose and resolve issues within ERP and MES systems, including production, inventory, and labeling data.
- Rectify label inaccuracies and relabel products as necessary to ensure compliance and precision.
- Set up, configure, and maintain shop floor technology, including workstations, tablets, scanners, printers, and scales.
- Conduct basic hardware troubleshooting for computers, handheld scanners, printers, and related devices.
- Educate team members on the proper use of the Manufacturing Execution System and related protocols.
- Support manufacturing teams with inventory challenges and reconciliation efforts.
- Test MES system upgrades, patches, and functionality before and after implementation.
- Collaborate with vendors to diagnose and fix hardware and software issues as well as to facilitate system enhancements.
- Generate data and reports to assist manufacturing objectives, efficiency, and ongoing improvement.
- Address urgent system issues, providing off-hours support when needed, to mitigate downtime and rectify errors.
- Work alongside IT, manufacturing, and leadership teams to boost system reliability and workflow efficiency.
