IT Administrator - Windows & Cisco

- Maintain and enhance the schools network infrastructure, including Wi-Fi, internet access, switches, and firewalls. - Monitor and uphold servers, backups, and school management systems. - Ensure secure and consistent access to digital platforms like Google Workspace and Microsoft 365, along with any school-specific systems. - Prepare laptops for teachers and students by installing necessary software, applying security configurations, and establishing user accounts. - Provide orientation on device usage and care during technology distribution. - Act as the primary point of contact for technical issues faced by students, teachers, and staff. - Efficiently troubleshoot hardware, software, and network problems. - Support classroom technology, including projectors, smart boards, printers, and other AV equipment. - Maintain a current inventory of all IT equipment and software licenses. - Arrange repairs and replacements for damaged or outdated hardware. - Manage software updates to keep all systems compliant and current. - Implement and uphold data privacy and cybersecurity best practices per regulatory standards. - Monitor for and respond to security threats, vulnerabilities, and data breaches. - Educate staff and students on safe digital practices. - Collaborate with leadership to bolster digital learning initiatives and future technology planning. - Recommend tools and systems that align with Gobind Sarvar Schools educational objectives. - Keep IT documentation up-to-date, including system configurations, policies, procedures, and support logs.
