Requirements

Must:
I’m looking for candidates with at least 2 years of sales experience and a proven track record of understanding customer needs. You should have 2 years of experience in a commission, bonus, and/or metrics-driven environment and be capable of meeting sales quotas while maintaining a great customer experience. Familiarity with a CRM or other customer management software is essential, alongside excellent interpersonal skills that enable you to thrive, multi-task, and prioritize in a high-volume, dynamic setting. You must demonstrate a proven ability to foster and build exceptional customer relationships and take complete ownership of customer issues, delivering an extraordinary experience to each client. A strong understanding of internet technology is required, and you should be able to connect directly to a modem via Ethernet. Additionally, stable internet connectivity and speeds adequate for voice calls are necessary. You will need a smartphone or smart device that can access the Google Play or Apple Store to install applications and receive SMS messages for remote access to our network resources. Preferred experience includes having owned or operated a small or midsize business.

Responsibilities

As a Technical Support & Sales Representative with us, I expect you to ensure we fulfill our customer experience commitments. You will be part of a team of 10-15 Guides, engaging with both existing and potential GoDaddy customers. Your primary responsibility will be to provide an exceptional customer experience (WOW Experience) by equipping clients with the tools and insights they need to turn their ideas into prosperous online endeavors. This will involve analyzing customer accounts and engaging in consultative conversations that lead to appropriate product and service suggestions. Your tasks will include fielding inbound calls while exhibiting WOW behaviors throughout the interactions, advising customers on new products and services that can enhance their business success, resolving issues within our support scope, troubleshooting GoDaddy products as needed, and taking complete ownership of customer queries to provide thorough resolutions. You will also meet metrics that may involve Customer Availability, Net Promoter Score, and New Sales Per Day.

At GoDaddy, the work environment varies across teams, with some working in the office full-time, others in a hybrid model, and some entirely in remote roles. This position may either be hybrid or fully remote, as determined by your manager. If hybrid, you will need to be within commuting distance of an office location. If remote, you’ll primarily work from home but may occasionally visit a GoDaddy office for team events or offsites. It’s important to note that this position is not available for candidates residing in specific states including Alaska, California, Colorado, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Mississippi, New Jersey, New York, North Dakota, Oregon, or the Virgin Islands. Our shifts may require work during nights, weekends, and holidays. We offer competitive compensation, combining an hourly wage of $17 with a variable incentive plan. For full-time employees, the expected annual earnings start at $35,360, with those meeting performance targets possibly earning between $50k and $60k total.
