Requirements
Must:
- At least 7 years of experience in software development
- Minimum of 3 years in a technical lead or architect position
- Proficient in React Native, Java, and Spring Boot
- Experience with real-time data and GPS/location-based services
- Background in mobile application development for iOS and Android
- Expertise in API design and integration, specifically REST
- Familiarity with cloud deployment practices
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and automated testing
- Proficient in using Jira for technical ticketing and sprint management
Responsibilities
- Lead the development of technical design and architecture decisions
- Conduct thorough code reviews
- Support development efforts focused on React Native, Java, and Spring Boot
- Oversee integration of real-time data sources, including SPaT and sensor feeds
- Guide the mobile building process for both iOS and Android platforms
- Architect deployments to cloud services like AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Implement CI/CD practices and automated testing frameworks
- Manage technical debt, troubleshoot issues, and refactor code as needed
- Ensure compliance with accessibility (WCAG/ADA) and security standards
Description
We are seeking a hands-on Technical Lead for our mobile application project, which utilizes real-time traffic signal and GPS/location data. This role is entirely remote (US residents only) and is offered as a W2 contract at a rate of $75–$80 per hour for an initial term of four months.
