Requirements
Must:
- Minimum 8 years in enterprise database design and administration
- At least 4 years of hands-on experience with PostgreSQL and MongoDB
- Over 4 years of experience supporting AWS
- Proven expertise in database architecture, indexing, partitioning, replication, and performance tuning
- Experience with large-volume database migrations
- Background in ETL and data warehousing
- Educational and technical certifications required
- Proof of work authorization necessary
- Valid ID proof with photo (drivers license or state ID)
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise databases, data lakes, and data warehouses
- Administer PostgreSQL and MongoDB, including performance tuning, patch management, backups, disaster recovery, and replication
- Lead database migration efforts across data centers and AWS cloud environments
- Develop and optimize complex SQL and NoSQL queries, as well as ETL processes
- Monitor production environments, focusing on CPU, memory, storage, and batch jobs
- Implement best practices for security hardening and data governance
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to support CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Bamboo, and Git
- Perform hands-on maintenance tasks, including VACUUM, ANALYZE, and full vacuum operations, as well as storage management
