Requirements
Must:
- Proficiency in at least one of the following: C#/.NET, Java, or Node.js/TypeScript
- Strong foundational knowledge of RESTful API design and HTTP principles
- Experience with relational databases and basic SQL
- Preferred familiarity with ASP.NET Core, Spring Boot, or NestJS
- Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, or CI/CD methodologies
Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable RESTful APIs utilizing ASP.NET Core, Spring Boot, or NestJS, ensuring consistent patterns, excellent usability for consumers, and comprehensive documentation through OpenAPI/Swagger
- Enhance legacy .NET and Java applications by breaking down monolithic components into manageable modules and microservices, while also creating MuleSoft System, Process, and Experience APIs with effective DataWeave transformations and robust error-handling procedures
- Improve delivery standards by constructing thorough unit, integration, and API tests (xUnit/NUnit, JUnit, Jest), maintaining reliable testing data strategies, and playing an active role in automated CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions
- Implement secure, observable services ready for production with OAuth2/OIDC authentication, Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), secure coding techniques, and structured logging, including distributed tracing and custom metrics using Application Insights, OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, and Grafana
