Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 4 years of practical experience in software development, automation, or enhancing business processes.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, etc.) or similar low-code/no-code tools.
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, R, .NET, C#, Visual Basic, or Java, particularly in automation and system integration.
- Familiarity with Power BI or comparable business intelligence tools is a bonus.
- Curious, adaptable, and driven, with a zeal for addressing intricate business challenges.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and root cause determination abilities.
- Competency in interpreting and working with data from diverse sources (e.g., APIs, databases, logs).
- Basic understanding of APIs, networking principles, command-line tools, and client-server architecture.
- Exposure to machine learning or AI concepts is advantageous.
- Comfortable with reading and interpreting workflow diagrams and process documentation.
- Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or Agile methodologies is preferred.
- Strong communication skills, capable of conveying technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Organized and detail-oriented, able to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Experience in utilities, supply chain, or enterprise-level automation projects is preferred.
- Understanding of Power Platform Center of Excellence (CoE), environment management, and security governance.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, configure, test, deploy, and maintain applications on the Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Power Virtual Agents, and Dataverse.
- Develop reusable scripts and automation frameworks to minimize manual administrative tasks.
- Work closely with Business Analysts and stakeholders to grasp business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Document technical designs, release notes, workflows, and solution architecture to support continuous operations and maintenance.
- Provide daily troubleshooting and support for active applications, ensuring prompt resolutions.
- Assist in defining and implementing governance, standards, and best practices for the Power Platform.
- Analyze structured and unstructured data to uncover trends and deliver insights through dashboards or reports.
- Stay updated with emerging technology trends, test new tools, and mentor others within the community of practice.
