Requirements
Must:
- Minimum age of 18 years
- Valid drivers license required for client visits
- Reside within the local area relevant to the job posting
- Availability to spend at least 75% of working hours in the field
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- At least two years of relevant experience preferred
- Strong prospecting, communication, and presentation abilities
- Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
- Sales-driven hunter mentality
- Professional demeanor and high integrity
- Urgency in achieving sales objectives
- Enjoy engaging with clients through cold calls and face-to-face meetings
- Familiarity with the restaurant and/or retail sectors is advantageous
Responsibilities
- Conduct prospecting to identify new clients
- Maintain and update client records according to company policies in the CRM system
- Meet minimum production targets, including setting initial appointments to achieve sales quotas
- Stay informed about our product/service offerings and developments in the financial technology sector
- Attend weekly team meetings and one-on-one sessions with management
- Collaborate closely with the District Manager to schedule appointments with business owners
- Analyze client needs and present Genius Point of Sale solutions during appointments
- Complete training process with District Manager to learn the sales cycle and effective use of CRM tools
- Upsell existing clients on additional products and services as opportunities arise
- Take on additional tasks as assigned
