Requirements
Must:
- 18 years or older
- Valid drivers license is required for visiting client sites
- Reside in the area relevant to the job location
- Ability to spend at least 75% of time in the field
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Minimum of two years of relevant experience preferred
- Exceptional prospecting, communication, presentation, and networking abilities
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team
- Highly motivated and results-oriented sales hunter
- Professional demeanor with a strong sense of integrity
- High urgency and innate sales acumen
- Enjoys face-to-face customer engagement and cold calling
- Knowledge of the restaurant and/or retail sectors is advantageous
Responsibilities
- Conduct prospecting and manage Global Payments Point of Sale presentations for small to mid-sized merchants, business owners, and restaurateurs, both in person and over the phone
- Collaborate closely with the District Manager to secure appointments with business owners via networking and referrals
- Execute scheduled meetings, identify client needs, and present Global Payments Point of Sale solutions to finalize sales
- During training, partner with the District Manager on initial client meetings to learn our quick sales cycle process using CRM tools such as Atlas and Salesforce
- Maintain thorough records of existing and prospective clients, including call notes and scheduled interactions, within the CRM system
- Meet production targets, including setting first-time appointments, to ensure quota achievement
- Continuously enhance knowledge of our product/service offerings and stay informed about developments in the financial technology sector
- Attend weekly team meetings and conduct one-on-one sessions with leadership
- Undertake additional duties as assigned
