Requirements
Must:
- At least 18 years of age
- Valid drivers license required for client site visits
- Reside in proximity to the job location
- Willingness to work in the field a minimum of 75% of the time
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Minimum of two years of relevant experience preferred
- Exceptional skills in prospecting, communication, presentation, and networking
- Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively in a team
- Sales-driven, with a strong motivation to achieve targets
- Professional demeanor and high integrity
- Strong sense of urgency and natural sales ability
- Enjoy engaging with clients in person and over the phone
- Familiarity with the Restaurant or Retail industry is advantageous
Responsibilities
- Conduct in-person and virtual Point of Sale presentations to small and mid-sized businesses
- Effectively pitch our value proposition and demonstrate our cloud-based Point of Sale solutions
- Upsell existing clients on additional Global Payments products and services
- Maintain consistent communication with the Point of Sale District Manager
- Prospect for new clients through networking and referrals
- Create and manage detailed records of client interactions and scheduled appointments in our CRM system
- Achieve minimum production goals, including securing initial appointments
- Continuously update knowledge of our product/service offerings and trends in the financial technology sector
- Attend weekly team meetings and one-on-one sessions with leadership
- Accept additional responsibilities as needed to support team objectives
