Requirements
Must:
- 2-4 years of relevant experience in roles such as Cloud Engineer, Computer Scientist, or Software Developer
- Bachelors degree, or equivalent, with experience considered in place of formal education
- Proficient in cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Experienced in designing, developing, and managing cloud-based infrastructure and applications
- Familiarity with programming languages including Python, Java, or C#
- Capable of working effectively within a remote team using virtual environments
- Knowledgeable in backend infrastructure optimization and load balancing for network traffic analysis
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities with strong attention to detail
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with adaptability to changing priorities
- Awareness of cloud security best practices and compliance requirements
Responsibilities
- Research, design, and develop cloud-based infrastructure, applications, and services to meet project specifications
- Integrate new or upgraded mission-critical applications into various cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments
- Monitor the performance of cloud systems and optimize resources for cost efficiency and availability
- Implement security measures including encryption and access controls, conducting regular audits for compliance
- Apply networking concepts such as IP addressing, DNS, and load balancing
- Enhance existing applications and data processing pipelines for efficient resource utilization
- Support the evolution of DevSecOps processes to ensure continuous integration and delivery
- Communicate technical issues proactively and effectively with project leads
- Stay current with advancements in cloud technology and research opportunities for innovation
- Demonstrate initiative in applying new tools and methodologies, engaging in continuous learning and skill enhancement
