Requirements
Must:
- 8 - 10 years of relevant experience in a related field
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent; some experience may substitute for education
- Proven experience as a Cloud Engineer, Software Developer, or in similar roles
- Proficient in cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Familiarity with programming languages like Python, Java, or C#
- Experience in designing and managing cloud-based infrastructure and applications
- Knowledge of networking concepts, including IP addressing and load balancing
- Competence in containerization technologies like Docker or Kubernetes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with meticulous attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, capable of adapting to shifting priorities and requirements
- Understanding of cloud security best practices and compliance standards
- Familiarity with cyber operations and network security tools is a plus
Responsibilities
- Research, design, and develop cloud-based infrastructure and applications respecting established requirements
- Engineer and integrate new or updated applications across cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments
- Monitor and optimize the performance of cloud systems to guarantee cost efficiency and high availability
- Implement security protocols, including encryption and access controls, and conduct regular audits for compliance
- Optimize existing applications and data processing systems to enhance resource efficiency
- Contribute to the evolution of DevSecOps processes to support CI/CD practices
- Proactively communicate system-related challenges to technical leads
- Stay informed on advancements in cloud technology and explore opportunities for improvement
- Research and apply new tools and techniques while continuously enhancing personal skills through collaboration and training
