Senior Support Engineer - IT Services

- Architect and deploy network solutions for datacenter operations, managed service provider clients, and cloud environments - Configure routers, switches, firewalls, wireless systems, and additional network equipment to ensure high performance and security - Implement network segmentation, redundancy, and failover strategies to maintain system resilience - Build and support cloud networking elements (Azure, AWS, CloudKey.io) - Create clear, usable documentation for procedures and client environments - Act as a senior escalation point for complex network issues, resolving them efficiently and confidently - Monitor network health, detect bottlenecks, and proactively resolve vulnerabilities - Maintain precise documentation of network topologies and configurations - Apply and uphold network security best practices, including firewall policies, ACLs, and IDS/IPS - Assist in meeting compliance requirements such as HIPAA and PCI - Collaborate closely with project managers, support engineers, and clients to deliver tailored solutions - Communicate professionally, translating technical jargon into clear information clients can understand and act upon - Assess emerging technologies and suggest enhancements for performance, security, and scalability - Participate in the refinement of policies, processes, and automation tools
