Requirements
Must:
- 5-9 years of experience in a Scrum Master role, ideally within a tech-focused team, finance, or financial technology sector
- Bachelors degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance) or equivalent professional experience
- Proven track record as a Senior Scrum Master or Agile Project Manager in a software development or tech-driven setting
- Solid understanding of Agile methodologies (including Scrum and Kanban) and experience in agile transformation processes
- Experience overseeing IT delivery in medium to large-scale complex environments, specifically in the Banking/Finance industry
- Familiarity with Cloud Platforms (such as Google Cloud Platform, Azure, AWS) and some exposure to Big Data tools (like Spark, Hadoop) and AI frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow) is an advantage (basic conceptual knowledge required)
- Proficiency in project management software, including Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps
- Strong expertise in Agile methodologies, specifically the Scrum framework, along with familiarity in project management tools
- Basic understanding of SQL queries and database structures is beneficial
- In-depth knowledge of AI environments and data
- Domain knowledge in financial technology and AI applications
Responsibilities
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives to ensure effective team collaboration
- Coach and guide teams in Agile practices to enhance productivity and ensure successful delivery of software projects
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables that align with business objectives
- Manage project timelines, resources, and risks effectively to ensure timely project completion
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying efficiency opportunities and addressing team challenges
- Liaise with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and manage dependencies in complex IT delivery
- Support the team in removing obstacles and impediments to ensure smooth workflow and progress
- Track and report on project progress, metrics, and risks to stakeholders, maintaining transparency throughout all stages
