Requirements
Must:
- Must possess a current active TS/SCI security clearance
- Certified DoD IAT II or higher
- Minimum of 14 years in fields such as software development, data engineering, or database engineering (4 additional years of related experience may replace a Bachelors degree)
- Proficient in unit and integration testing
- Skilled in data extraction, custom translation development, and data loading, including preparation and labeling for analytics
- Familiar with various log formats, including JSON and XML
- Experience with data flow, management, and storage solutions (e.g., Kafka, NiFi, AWS S3, and SQS)
- Capability to analyze technical challenges and resolve system and dataflow issues
- Open to completing a programming challenge during the interview
- Experienced with virtual team meetings using platforms such as Zoom, Teams, or Meet
- Previous work in cyber/network security operations is preferred
- Knowledgeable about Agile methodologies
- Strong communication abilities
- Have developed documentation and training materials in areas of expertise
- Familiarity with Amazon S3 and SQS/SNS administration
- Experience with Apache Airflow, Mage AI is advantageous
- Knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker
Responsibilities
- Manage and work with big data systems as well as structured and unstructured datasets
- Assist in government data acquisition, analysis, and sharing initiatives
- Concentrate on software infrastructure for large-scale data ingestion, including analyzing and integrating new data sources, modifying existing ones, conducting tests, implementing monitoring, and troubleshooting
- Lead the department toward achieving strategic objectives while ensuring data integrity and promoting a culture of collaboration and innovation
