Requirements
Must:
- 3 to 5 years of experience working with Cisco networking hardware (routers, switches, firewalls)
- Familiarity with Checkpoint firewalls is advantageous
- In-depth understanding of networking principles, including TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, DNS, DHCP, and subnetting
- CCNA certification or equivalent training is preferred
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and verbal communication abilities
- Self-driven, detail-oriented, and enthusiastic about embracing new technologies
- Capable of working independently while knowing when to seek help
- Possess a valid drivers license and reliable transportation for occasional client site visits
Responsibilities
- Serve as the main technical liaison for assigned clients, ensuring prompt support and problem resolution
- Set up, install, and maintain network equipment such as routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points at client locations
- Monitor and troubleshoot LAN/WAN connectivity and performance issues
- Record network configurations, manage hardware inventory, and maintain change logs
- Implement and assess new networking and security solutions
- Provide continuous technical assistance to clients and internal teams as required
- Participate in after-hours maintenance and be part of on-call rotations
