Requirements
Must:
- Basic understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, routing, and subnetting
- Familiarity with Cisco devices is preferred
- CompTIA Network+ or CCNA certification is a plus
- Strong troubleshooting and communication abilities
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Responsibilities
- Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of routers, switches, firewalls, and access points in a Cisco/Meraki environment
- Monitor and address network connectivity and performance issues
- Help document configurations and modifications
- Support network upgrades and client installations
- Collaborate with seasoned engineers on real client projects
Description
At Glencom Systems, we are seeking a Junior-Level Network Engineer to help enhance and maintain our clients' network infrastructure. This role presents a fantastic opportunity for recent graduates or early-career IT professionals with 1 to 2 years of experience to acquire hands-on experience with actual networks while working alongside senior engineers. We offer mentorship and on-the-job training, exposure to various environments and technologies, certification reimbursement, and opportunities for career development in a collaborative team setting.
