Requirements
Must:
- Reside within Coconino County
- Bachelors degree or equivalent relevant experience in work or volunteering
- Align with the core competencies and values of our organization
- Proficient in computer skills and software, with preference for Windows environments
- Familiarity with team-oriented work dynamics
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including good spelling and grammar
- Ability to gather, assess, and creatively apply data for planning and problem-solving
- Skilled in building and nurturing community relationships
- Understanding of volunteer management systems
- Proven ability to handle multiple projects, exercise initiative, and meet deadlines
- Strong self-motivation with the capacity to regularly achieve and surpass work objectives
- Capable of maintaining confidentiality regarding sensitive matters
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with assigned area team members to advance the objectives of our organization
- Analyze data on demographics and membership trends to set specific targets for membership growth
- Recruit, manage, evaluate, and recognize a dedicated volunteer team
- Organize, promote, and lead recruitment events and community booths to encourage family participation in Girl Scouts
- Cultivate a collaborative team culture in the workplace
- Maintain effective communication between the area team and other Council staff
- Enhance community support by increasing the visibility of the Girl Scout organization
- Develop and deliver both traditional and innovative programs to retain and grow membership
- Identify and maintain funding sources that comply with approved processes for Council fundraising activities
- Support volunteer education by utilizing various adult learning frameworks and completing necessary training within twelve months of hire
- Perform any other related duties as required

At Girl Scouts-Arizona Cactus-Pine Council (GSACPC), we are a dedicated non-profit organization serving over 11,000 girls in grades K-12 throughout central and northern Arizona. Our mission focuses on cultivating courage, confidence, and character in girls, fostering a better world. With the assistance of 6,000 enthusiastic adult volunteers, we create welcoming environments where girls explore new opportunities.
