Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline (equivalent experience will be considered)
- Over 5 years of experience in data center infrastructure engineering, construction management, or facilities operations
- Proficient in HVAC systems, electrical distribution, and cooling methodologies, including liquid cooling (immersion/direct-to-chip)
- Familiarity with Building Management System (BMS) software
- Preferred certifications include DCCA, CDCS, or similar qualifications
- Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities
- Detail-oriented with a focus on monitoring and improvement
- Proven project management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities
Responsibilities
- Oversee the design and construction phases, including build-outs, expansions, and upgrades; manage timelines, budgets, and contractor relationships
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules; troubleshoot BMS and cooling systems to enhance infrastructure performance
- Maintain and enhance controls for BMS; introduce innovative solutions and utilize analytics to promote efficiency
- Commission UPS systems, PDUs, generators, and chillers; manage necessary documentation and conduct risk assessments
- Collaborate with IT, network, and security teams; serve as the technical liaison; report on performance metrics and capacity
- Ensure compliance with relevant standards, protocols, and audit requirements
