Requirements
Must:
- DoD 8570 - IAT Level II (GSEC, Security+ CE, SSCP, or CCNA-Security)
- Top Secret Clearance is necessary to begin, must qualify for Top Secret/SCI
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification
- At least seven (7) years of progressively responsible experience in computer system/network engineering
- Proficiency with Cisco routers and Catalyst switches
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and support WAN and LAN networks, as well as telecommunication systems using Cisco routers, switches, Juniper equipment, and various networking hardware
- Configure and manage network security devices like Cisco ASA firewalls, IDS/IPS systems, VPNs (IPsec), and SDLC protocols to protect company assets
- Maintain and enhance network protocols such as OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, and BGP/MPLS VPNs to guarantee efficient routing and high availability across international networks
- Oversee and support network infrastructure elements including SAN storage solutions and VMware vSphere environments
- Perform vulnerability assessments utilizing tools such as SolarWinds, Splunk, PRTG, and SolarWinds to identify and address potential threats
- Automate network management duties using scripting languages like Python, Bash shell scripting, PowerShell, and Ansible for configuration management and deployment
- Lead initiatives involving network installation and upgrades while following ITIL best practices in an Agile SDLC environment
- Conduct regular vulnerability evaluations and apply necessary security measures to protect against cyber threats in both cloud and on-premises networks

We are looking for a highly qualified Senior Network Engineer to join our team for overnight shifts (Monday through Friday, 10 PM to 6 AM). Our ideal candidate will bring extensive expertise in IT infrastructure, network security, and system administration, particularly in designing, implementing, and maintaining complex network architectures.
