Requirements
Must:
- Associates Degree in a relevant field or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- No previous relevant work experience is necessary
- Preferred: Bachelors Degree in a related discipline or equivalent
- Preferred: Knowledge of student development theory
- Preferred certifications in data analytics such as SAS, Excel, or Student Success Analytics
- Proficient in data analysis tools including Excel, Tableau, SPSS, and Power BI
- Understanding of applicable laws and regulations regarding data protection
- Familiarity with statistical analysis techniques and predictive analytics
Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and interpret data from diverse sources to provide insights that guide business strategies and operations
- Design and manage data models, queries, and reports utilizing SQL, Python, R, or other data analysis tools
- Detect and address data quality issues and validate data integrity
- Develop visualizations, dashboards, and analytical reports to convey findings to stakeholders
- Perform exploratory data analysis and statistical evaluations to support data-informed decisions
- Execute data mining, predictive analytics, and machine learning initiatives
- Employ data analytics and business intelligence tools to conduct analyses efficiently
- Stay updated on data analytics trends and methodologies through continuous learning
- Collaborate with business users and IT teams to define analytics needs and data-driven solutions
- Undertake additional job-related tasks as necessary
