Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent; advanced degree in a relevant field preferred
- 8 to 10 years of experience in Information Technology (IT)
- 5+ years of full systems development lifecycle experience creating custom web applications using JavaScript and HTML
- 5+ years of technical proficiency with Java; familiarity with OpenText Exstream and MySQL
- 5 to 7 years of defining and documenting business and technical requirements, and developing and testing software in the financial or insurance sector preferred
- Experience collaborating with internal resources and flexibility to work with an offshore delivery center in different time zones
- Proven ability to direct and oversee third-party suppliers in project execution or application support
- Experience in establishing operational and process controls to ensure adherence to established processes, procedures, and audits
- Proven track record in monitoring and managing Service Level Agreements (SLAs) while exceeding customer expectations
- Exceptional analytical, professional, and interpersonal skills with strong problem-solving abilities
- Progressive background in information technology, focusing on Software Development and Quality Assurance
- Familiarity with software development methodologies such as waterfall, agile, prototyping, and rapid application development
Responsibilities
- Design and manage the execution of specific solutions that comply with enterprise architecture
- Collaborate with Product Manager, Product Owner, and other stakeholders to create in-depth technical designs based on business needs
- Draft blueprints for business architecture, logical architecture, API design, data catalogs, and other documentation
- Ensure that proposed solutions align with architectural principles, standards, and industry best practices
- Work closely with project teams to address technical challenges and mitigate risks
- Assess new technologies and evaluate their potential influence on enterprise architecture
- Develop solutions tailored to initiatives by converting backlogs into actionable designs, validating compliance with enterprise standards, and integrating new technologies
- Produce navigation and information designs; create prototypes, storyboards, and mockups to effectively communicate concepts to business analysts and the Enterprise Architecture team, including graphic designs that represent ideas stemming from requirements
