Requirements
Must:
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Pega Certified Senior System Architect (CSSA)
- 5 - 7+ years of Pega application development experience
- 4+ years developing BPM applications using Pega PRPC Platform 8 & 24/25
- Strong adherence to Pega best practices for design and architecture
- Proficiency in Agile (Scrum)
- Experience with SQL Server or Oracle
- Familiarity with .NET or Java is preferred
- Background in large-scale enterprise environments
- Knowledge of Pega Constellation
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Experience leading development teams
Responsibilities
- Provide ongoing support for Pega applications
- Act as a Senior Application Developer for the LTC Claims Operations technology team by designing, developing, and maintaining scalable workflow applications
- Develop software using PEGA Rules Process Commander (PRPC) for Business Process Management and Business Process Rules initiatives
- Create innovative solutions to resolve design, architectural, and technical challenges
- Collaborate with the Lead System Architect to determine solution design and create necessary technical documentation
- Engage in continual refactoring, employ visualization techniques, and contribute to ongoing improvement efforts
- Build and uphold strong relationships across cross-functional technology teams and application users
- Work with Business Analysts, Testers, and business users to prioritize development based on resource limitations
- Assess and adapt to emerging technologies and toolsets as needed
- Conduct peer code reviews and ensure strict adherence to Pega guardrails
