Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience
- 10+ years of professional software development experience, particularly in senior or principal roles
- Expert-level proficiency in modern application development technologies such as TypeScript, React, and Node.js
- Strong experience with GraphQL and RESTful APIs
- Proficient in database design and performance, with hands-on knowledge of PostgreSQL and MongoDB
- Experience developing and managing CI/CD pipelines and supporting DevSecOps practices
- Familiarity with mobile application delivery for iOS and Android, including release management
- Hands-on experience with real-time systems, including communication platforms
- Proven ability to collaborate with product teams, design, and stakeholders to achieve impactful results
Responsibilities
- Lead the modernization of our Assessment platform using technologies like TypeScript, React, React Native, and GraphQL
- Establish and advocate for superior engineering practices to ensure modular, scalable, and flexible systems
- Define and maintain coding standards, architectural guidelines, and quality metrics to uphold engineering excellence
- Conduct technical design discussions, perform code reviews, and offer practical guidance to the engineering team
- Develop and implement CI/CD pipelines while contributing to DevSecOps practices
- Contribute to strategies for hosting, deployment, and performance management of the platform
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers and stakeholders to translate requirements into robust technical solutions
- Mentor engineers, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement
