Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent, advanced degree preferred in a relevant field
- 8 to 10 years of experience in the Information Technology (IT) sector
- Over 5 years of experience in the complete system development lifecycle for custom web applications using JavaScript and HTML
- More than 5 years of technical expertise in Java, with a background in OpenText Exstream and MySQL
- 5 to 7 years of experience in defining and documenting business and technical requirements, along with developing and testing software, preferably in financial or insurance industries
- Experience collaborating with internal resources and managing offshore delivery centers across different time zones
- Proven track record in directing and supervising third-party suppliers for project execution or application support
- Experience in establishing operational and process controls to ensure adherence to established processes, procedures, and audit controls
- Experience in monitoring and managing Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and exceeding customer expectations with high volumes of requests
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills with strong intellectual agility
- Progressive experience in information technology focusing on Software Development and Quality Assurance
- Familiarity with software development methodologies such as waterfall, agile, prototyping, and rapid application development
Responsibilities
- Transform business requirements into technical specifications and implementations
- Develop, maintain, and release web-based user interfaces while creating systems design documentation adhering to company, industry, and regulatory standards
- Design and maintain system layouts by preparing design documents, refining existing designs, and identifying discrepancies using design tools
- Create effective navigation structures and information designs; develop prototypes, storyboards, and mockups for communication with business analysts and the Enterprise Architecture team
- Engage in user experience activities for projects as required
- Demonstrate leadership in technical areas including AngularJS v1, HTML5, CSS3, and interaction with RESTful web services using JavaScript
- Conduct code reviews and collaborate with fellow designers and developers on project tasks
- Provide limited system support and maintenance for existing applications within the Application Development Services
- Lead and guide offshore development teams on various projects as necessary
