Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Extensive knowledge of current and emerging technologies in the insurance and financial services sectors
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Lead Architect role
- 5 years of experience in Enterprise Application Integration
- 5 years of expertise in Cloud technologies (AWS or Azure) with a strong track record of implementation
- Proven background in architecting, designing, and executing enterprise-scale, high-volume, highly available systems
- Experience in developing IT strategy and long-term capital planning
Responsibilities
- Engage with the Enterprise Architecture group to define and uphold product and architectural standards for application services
- Collaborate with architects in application, data, network, and identity to ensure effective design and delivery of cloud-specific technical architectures
- Support application solution architects in creating scalable, highly available, and secure application solutions utilizing cloud services
- Act as an escalation point for the Cloud Engineering team during the implementation of designs
- Create, develop, and maintain reference architectures for frequently utilized delivery patterns
- Oversee the cloud ecosystem as one of the principal administrators
- Conduct technical architecture planning for cloud initiatives and establish architectural standards
- Design software architecture based on requirements articulated in system specifications
- Examine business requirements and identify potential risks or issues in fulfilling system requirements
- Ensure the comprehensive integrity of the cloud architecture and validate it against system specifications
