Requirements
Must:
- Understanding of how software systems connect and interact to exchange data
- Desire to contribute to projects that have a real user impact rather than maintaining outdated systems
- Ability to switch contexts between various technical tasks such as scripting, debugging, and configuring workflows
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
- 0–2 years of relevant experience, including internships, capstone projects, or personal work is sufficient
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, JavaScript); knowledge of HTML, CSS, and web development fundamentals
- Comfort with API documentation and working with REST APIs; familiarity with version control (Git) is beneficial
- Strong problem-solving skills, ability to learn independently, effective communication with non-technical colleagues, meticulous attention to detail, and capability to manage uncertainty
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot integrations between marketing and business systems, including HubSpot, Shopify, Squarespace, and internal databases
- Write scripts and automations for data movement, transformation, and synchronization across platforms, ensuring smooth cooperation between marketing, sales, and operations
- Assist in creating reporting dashboards and data pipelines linking marketing activities to revenue outcomes
- Support with technical SEO implementation, site performance enhancements, and platform migrations as necessary
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues in the marketing stack, acting as the primary technical resource for the team
- Assess and experiment with new tools, APIs, and platform features as our technology stack advances, including AI-assisted workflows
- Create documentation for system architecture, integration processes, and standard operating procedures to preserve team knowledge
