Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years in systems engineering, application support, or IT infrastructure administration.
- Lenel Certified System Administrator (LCSA) certification is preferred.
- Proven experience in configuring and supporting Lenel OnGuard and/or Genetec security systems.
- Previous experience managing and administering Video Surveillance systems in enterprise settings.
- Proficient in Windows and Linux server environments, including patch management, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
- Skill in writing or executing scripts using PowerShell, Bash, or Python for automating maintenance and monitoring functions.
- Familiarity with JIRA or similar ticketing systems for issue tracking and management.
- Strong attention to detail with good documentation practices and the ability to create runbooks or standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with the capability to collaborate with internal teams and external vendors.
- Must be available for full-time onsite work in Dallas, TX, and occasional weekend coverage as necessary.
Responsibilities
- Configure, install, and manage Lenel OnGuard and Genetec applications on both Windows and Linux servers.
- Act as the main point of contact for physical security applications, ensuring continuous operation, stability, and compliance with client requirements.
- Oversee server patching, firmware updates, and system enhancements for access control and video management infrastructures.
- Set up and enhance camera integrations, door controllers, and alarm systems to meet corporate security compliance.
- Collaborate with security operations and IT infrastructure teams to maintain system uptime, resilience, and redundancy.
- Perform performance monitoring, log analysis, and vulnerability remediation to uphold secure configurations.
- Serve as the subject matter expert for troubleshooting in Genetec and LenelS2 environments across the enterprise.
- Manage JIRA tickets, prioritize tasks, and ensure timely resolution of application and server issues.
- Work alongside the Clients Physical Security Team and software vendors to coordinate patches, updates, and system improvements.
- Carry out system performance checks, backups, and monitoring to guarantee reliability and security.
- Create and maintain runbooks, configuration documents, and thorough technical procedures.
- Support the PSOC environment with after-hours or weekend coverage as needed.
