Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in system architecture and software application development
- Proficient in coding with C, Git, SQL, and Windows development
- Familiarity with C#/.net and C++ is advantageous
- Solid understanding of data/message transfer and processing
- Strong foundation in computer science and mathematics
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Independent problem-solving skills
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related engineering field, or equivalent professional experience
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain diverse software applications, tools, and functions for the business
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications for development
- Document application functions and maintain code repositories
- Support QA testing and implement fixes for exceptions
- Participate in the technical design of software solutions for the Capital Markets sector
- Collaborate with business users and analysts to ensure applications meet specifications
- Interact with the larger development team to share designs and solutions
- Read and understand legacy code to implement safe changes and high-value tests
- Become knowledgeable in the domain space, focusing on financial products
