Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree
- Over 5 years of experience in various IT domains, including at least 2 disciplines within a client/server or service-oriented architecture (SOA) framework such as technical architecture, network management, application development, middleware, database management, or operations
- Familiarity with ServiceNow products and architecture, particularly the Core Platform, CMDB, integrations, security, release processes, and update set promotion
- At least 3 years of experience as a solution architect
- At least 3 years of leading technology initiatives
- Minimum of 3 years supporting ServiceNow platform
- Solution Architecture experience across business, technology, data, application, and infrastructure areas
- Proven skills in executing Solution Architecture for large and complex enterprise solutions
- Exceptional communication abilities including listening, verbal, and written skills, with the capacity to engage professionally with a diverse range of executives, managers, business leaders, and subject matter experts using strong presentation skills
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize and multi-task
Responsibilities
- Advocate for and enhance the principles of information technology strategies
- Analyze enterprise business drivers to identify necessary changes
- Assess the IT landscape for significant deficiencies and propose improvement solutions
- Monitor technology industry trends and assess their potential effects on the enterprise
- Establish guiding principles for solution decision-making
- Lead the design and execution of an Enterprise Architecture (EA) aligned with business requirements and IT strategies
- Direct governance activities ensuring compliance with the EA
- Create a roadmap indicating the evolution of the enterprise application portfolio from its current to future state
- Oversee the implementation and modification of solution architecture
- Facilitate the assessment and selection of software product standards and the design of standard configurations
- Consult on application or infrastructure projects to align systems or infrastructure with the overall architecture
- Identify the organizational and financial repercussions of the EA
- Document all aspects of solution architecture design and analysis
- Collaborate closely with the enterprise program management office (EPMO) to ensure alignment of delivery plans
