Requirements
Must:
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience
- Cloud Service Provider Certification (e.g., AWS Cloud Practitioner, Azure Fundamentals, etc.) required within 1 year of employment
- Strong analytical skills and ability to communicate effectively
- Proficient development experience with SAP, ABAP, Fiori, JavaScript, SAPUI5, SAP GUI, ABAP Development Tools (ADT) in Eclipse, SAP BTP, SAP Cloud Connector, and GitHub (or similar Git-based version control)
- Familiarity with Production Operations including monitoring and troubleshooting SAP Background Jobs (SM37) and scheduled batch chains
- Experience in Workflow Administration, managing SAP Business Workflow, monitoring work items, and resolving stuck processes
- Expertise in Integration Support, ensuring data integrity for interfaces with 3rd party vendors
- Strong capabilities in Functional Troubleshooting and root-cause analysis
- High school diploma (or equivalent) and legal authorization to work in the U.S.
- Bachelors Degree is preferred
- Familiarity with agile methodologies, DevOps, and IT Service Management
- Experience in Prototype design and implementation, Modern Web & Data technologies (TypeScript, Node.js, React.js, HTML5, CSS3, JSON, XML)
- Knowledge of SAP Finance (FI) and Controlling (CO) logic and structures
- Understanding of Human Resources (HCM) module operations and data structures
- Specialized HR Development skills in programming techniques and Payroll/Benefits interfaces
- Experience with Application architecture, ETL processes, and Performance Tuning
- Knowledge of peer code reviews, debugging, and applying SAP Notes via SNOTE
- Preferred Certifications: SAP Certified Development Associate - ABAP with SAP NetWeaver; AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner
Responsibilities
- Design, code, and enhance software solutions
- Collaborate daily as part of a scrum team with the scrum master, product owner, analysts, other developers, and testers to deliver functional code iteratively
- Provide technical leadership throughout projects to guarantee usability, effectiveness, and cost-efficiency
- Work closely with analysts and customers to define product or project specifications
- Foster innovative solutions by adhering to best practices and established design standards
- Research emerging technology trends and contribute to design and platform decisions
- Guide, mentor, and train fellow developers
- Be available for on-call duties as needed
