Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent education and experience
- 10 years of relevant work experience in Business Analysis, System Design and Development, Systems Engineering, or technical architecture, including 5 years in an Architect role
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without visa or residency sponsorship
- Significant experience in defining and standardizing design and architecture patterns
- Advanced communication skills to present effectively across various organizational levels
- Ability to lead and manage architecture teams effectively
- Broad understanding of multiple domain areas with practical problem-solving abilities
- Self-motivated with ability to work independently and guide others
- Experience in various solution types, from organizational processes to implementing new system builds and cloud solutions
- Experience with data modeling, data lineage, and metadata management tools
- Working knowledge of OLTP, OLAP, business event, messaging, and API design best practices
- Familiarity with enterprise architecture tools and knowledge repositories
- Experience with the SAFe Agile Framework
- Preferred: 5+ years in data modeling and database design
- Experience with industry data models (HL7, FHIR, etc.) or regulatory compliance (HIPAA, PCI)
- Strong background in software development life cycle and project management principles
- Masters degree in Computer Science or related area is a plus
- Knowledge of two or more architectural domains is advantageous
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the lifecycle of standard elements for data and information architecture
- Lead the architectural vision and governance for enterprise data management
- Develop and promote strategies for enterprise information architecture
- Facilitate the creation of architecture blueprints and executive presentations
- Mitigate data redundancy and fragmentation by establishing data governance practices
- Continually enhance information architecture practices and processes
- Guide the development of information policies to ensure data accuracy and reusability
- Stay informed about emerging IT trends relevant to data architecture
- Collaborate with leadership to identify innovative business and technology opportunities
- Analyze the business-IT environment to recognize deficiencies and recommend improvements
- Maintain the architecture repository of current state and future state deliverables
- Represent data architecture at the Architecture Review Board and lead community practice meetings
- Work with product owners to ensure alignment of architectural strategies with future business needs
- Mentor technical experts and collaborate with peers to foster new capabilities
- Perform other duties as assigned
