Requirements
Must:
- PhD or Masters degree in Statistics, Economics, Data Science, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in AWS cloud machine learning or similar AI platforms, with familiarity in AWS Sagemaker, Lambda, S3, Athena, etc.
- Proficient in one or more programming languages, preferably Python or R, along with Spark and additional modern data science tools.
- Familiar with Large Language Models (Llama, Claude, Titan) and frameworks such as LangChain, vector databases, embeddings, and prompt engineering.
- Willingness to extend beyond conventional modeling to address broader technical or business challenges in alignment with team and organizational goals.
- Practical experience fine-tuning Large Language Models.
- Understanding of advanced Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) methods including MMR, multi-vector retrieval, RAG fusion, HYDE, self RAG, and evaluation frameworks.
- Knowledge and hands-on experience with Agentic AI and workflows, emphasizing task orchestration and multi-agent collaboration.
- Experience with advanced AWS AI/ML services like Bedrock, JumpStart, Textract, and related ML orchestration capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Product Owner to oversee the entire AI development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, data sourcing, model development, proof of concept demonstrations, risk governance reviews, and production deployment in both on-premises and AWS environments.
- Exhibit strong self-discipline and professional accountability in managing project tasks, ensuring transparent communication with leadership, seeking guidance as necessary, and proactively addressing risks, obstacles, or resource needs to guarantee timely project delivery.
- Employ automation strategies to refine manual processes, boost productivity and precision, and create reusable, scalable self-service tools and assets.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies in machine learning, cloud, and AI, fostering innovation by assessing and integrating new capabilities into current workflows and products.
