Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in software engineering or application development
- Proficient in React, HTML5, CSS, functional components, hooks, and Redux
- Experience with NodeJS (JavaScript or TypeScript) and/or Java Spring Boot
- Familiar with DevOps practices and Git-based version control
- Knowledgeable in both relational and non-relational databases
- Hands-on experience with Postgres and DynamoDB preferred
- Excellent problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail
- Effective communication skills with technical peers and business stakeholders
- Experience in developing solutions using agile methodologies
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain full stack applications with a focus on React front-end development
- Create reusable, maintainable, and efficient components utilizing React, HTML5, CSS, hooks, and Redux
- Develop and support back-end services using NodeJS (JavaScript or TypeScript) or Java Spring Boot
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions tailored to client needs
- Participate in agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
- Perform peer reviews on system designs and application code to ensure quality and adherence to best practices
- Employ system design patterns and architectural principles to construct scalable and reliable applications
- Work with relational and non-relational databases to design, query, and enhance data storage solutions
- Support DevOps practices, version control, and CI/CD pipelines using Git and associated tools
