Requirements
Must:
- 10+ years of relevant experience
- Proficient full stack Python/PySpark developer
- Demonstrable experience as a Data Engineer with Azure cloud expertise
- Experienced in implementing solutions leveraging Azure cloud services like Azure Data Factory, Azure Lake Gen 2, Azure Databases, Azure Data Fabric, API Gateway management, and Azure Functions
- Strong knowledge of Azure Databricks
- Solid SQL abilities with both RDBMS and NoSQL databases
- Familiarity with developing APIs using FastAPI or similar frameworks in Python
- Understanding of the DevOps lifecycle (git, Jenkins, etc.) and CI/CD methodologies
- Good grasp of ETL/ELT processes
- Prior experience in the financial services sector, especially relating to financial instruments, asset classes, and market data is a plus
Responsibilities
- Engage in the development of the data platform while closely collaborating with our internal team
- Assist in creating a reference data system for securities and pricing data, with plans to expand to additional data areas
- Adhere to internal development standards and support the broader objectives of the Data Strategy team
- Execute solutions on our Azure Cloud Platform
