Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 8 years of professional software engineering experience
- At least 4 years dedicated to backend development in C#.NET or a similar object-oriented language
- Strong expertise in relational databases like MSSQL Server, including schema design, query optimization, and indexing
- Demonstrated experience building distributed systems with eventual consistency models
- Solid knowledge of scalability methods such as sharding and load balancing
- Proficient in domain-driven design, including domain modeling, repository implementation, and invariants enforcement
- Familiarity with modern backend frameworks and tools like ASP.NET Core and Entity Framework
- Experience in cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS for backend infrastructure management
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to tackle complex technical issues
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of extensive backend services and APIs with C#.NET, integrating with MSSQL Server and other data stores
- Architect distributed systems ensuring high availability, fault tolerance, and scalability for high traffic volumes
- Apply domain-driven design principles to model intricate business domains and create maintainable systems
- Collaborate with product and cross-functional teams to prioritize and scope strategic initiatives
- Identify and remedy performance bottlenecks, optimizing latency and resource usage in high-load scenarios
- Mentor mid-level and junior engineers through code reviews and design discussions
- Advocate for engineering best practices including CI/CD pipelines and testing strategies
- Manage on-call responsibilities and lead incident responses for production systems
- Stay updated on industry trends in backend technologies and data management
