Requirements
Must:
- 7+ years of hands-on experience with Actimize SAM and RCM/ActOne implementations, ideally in financial services or regulated environments.
- Proven expertise in AML and financial crime compliance systems and workflows.
- Proficient programming skills in Python, Java, C/C++, or similar languages.
- Advanced SQL proficiency with relational databases such as Oracle, MS SQL Server, or Azure-based databases, along with a solid grasp of ETL/ELT concepts.
- Familiarity with REST APIs, microservices architecture, and process automation through shell scripting.
- Demonstrated experience in Agile delivery methods and collaboration with technology and business teams.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, capable of delivering solutions under tight deadlines.
- Effective communication abilities, particularly in conveying technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- High degree of self-direction, time management, and personal accountability in a multi-project setting.
- Flexibility to navigate changing regulatory, technical, and business requirements.
- Preferred: Exposure to DevOps lifecycle and CI/CD practices.
- Preferred: Experience in cloud-based implementations using Azure services such as Data Factory, Databases, Functions, and Databricks.
Responsibilities
- Lead the technical design, configuration, development, and implementation of Actimize SAM, RCM/ActOne, and related AML compliance applications across development and production settings.
- Act as the subject matter expert and product owner for Actimize platforms, offering architectural guidance, design direction, and technical leadership to internal teams.
- Collaborate with AML business users and compliance stakeholders to convert regulatory and operational needs into scalable technical solutions.
- Identify, analyze, and resolve intricate system, data, and performance issues using strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Create and maintain integrations, data pipelines, and automation utilizing SQL, ETL/ELT processes, REST services, and scripting across Unix and Windows environments.
- Support Agile delivery practices, including backlog refinement, sprint execution, and collaboration via Jira and Confluence.
- Ensure high-quality, timely delivery of solutions that meet SLAs, regulatory timelines, and internal risk standards.
- Clearly communicate technical concepts, risks, and solution options to management and non-technical stakeholders, providing concise summaries and necessary supporting details.
- Foster strong cross-functional relationships to achieve consensus on design decisions and enterprise-wide compliance technology standards.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across DevOps, cloud adoption, and platform modernization efforts, including Azure-based services.
